Join the Gazelles

Practice Schedule: Highland Park Tuesday/ Thursday 6-8pm (SHOW EARLY TO BOOT UP). Sometimes we practice on the field, sometimes we practice in space adjacent to the field, and sometimes we practice near parking lot/ community pool. Either way, you should see us.

No experience is needed to join. We host a Division 3 and a Division 4 side. This means that there is plenty of opportunity for everyone to play on game day, regardless of skill, age, or athleticism. With two sides, we still practice as one unit; this allows for new comers to gain valuable insight and experience from more seasoned players. If you are new to the sport, or just getting back into it; we take the time to help you with fundamentals, learning team strategy, and walk you through every step of the process. Don’t hesitate to show up. Ask for Coach MacKenzie, or email us for more info – grgazelles@gmail.com.

Over 90% of West Michigan Collegiate and High School coaches (as well as many referees) have crafted their knowledge while playing for the Gazelles. As a club we have also participated in fundraising to send high school players to high-intensity rugby training camps, and held training camps of our own. Even if you don’t wish to play, anyone can become a member of our club. We’d love to have your support as a voting member, chair a committee, partner with us in community engagement, or represent the fan base. Member’s receive voting rights and are welcome to join us in post-match festivities where we indulge in luxuries from our sponsors such as Founders Brewing and E. A. Brady’s: Pastured, Local, Meats

Player dues are currently $100 per season, and supporter dues are $75.
